Seleccionada para exponer en la Zona de Innovación Catalana en la Fira Barcelona como principal fabricante de altavoces pro-audio de la región, en asociación con ACCIÓ, la agencia de promoción de la competitividad empresarial de la Generalitat de Catalunya, la empresa con sede en Terrassa, fue una de las tres principales fabricantes de altavoces de megafonía que exhiben en la feria.
El vicepresidente y director técnico Joan Amate reflexionó que el enfoque local del evento era, en sí mismo, valioso: «Aunque los grandes fabricantes de megafonía estaban infrarrepresentados, había un número significativo de visitantes del sector entre los asistentes. Tuvimos valiosas conversaciones e intercambios con la gente; algunos de los cuales no habíamos conocido antes y otros no los habíamos visto durante algún tiempo.»
«Aunque no hay una comparación razonable con la escala habitual de la ISE, como evento regional local, existía la sensación de que había una oportunidad para contactos y conversaciones que de otro modo podrían quedar ahogados en un espectáculo internacional completo. Y con la demanda más relajada de nuestro tiempo, también tuvimos buenas interacciones en red con otros expositores.»
Para Amate Audio el evento de la ISE en Barcelona tuvo un valor a largo plazo: «Fue admirable que la ISE organizara el evento prevaleciendo las medidas en su año ignagural en Barcelona. Fue una prueba de concepto que, incluso con un nivel de riesgo residual, será posible organizar de forma segura un evento más grande el próximo año.»
«Estamos muy agradecidos a ACCIÓ por haber podido exponer en el Pabellón de la Innovación de Cataluña este año. El espectáculo fue un paso más hacia la normalidad y esperamos volver el año que viene para participar en el ISE como evento de formato completo en Fira Barcelona.»
Selected to exhibit in the Catalan Innovation Zone in the Fira Barcelona Gran Via, as the region’s premier pro-audio loudspeaker manufacturer, in association with ACCIÓ, the Government of Catalunya’s agency promoting Business Competitiveness, the Terrassa, Barcelona based company was one of just three major PA loudspeaker manufacturers exhibiting live at the show.
Vice President and Chief Technical Officer Joan Amate reflected that the local focus of the event was, of itself, of value: «Although large-scale PA manufacturers were under represented, there were a significant number of visitors from the sector among attendees. We had valuable conversations and exchanges with people; some of whom we had not met before and others we had not seen for some time.»
«Although there is no reasonable comparison with the usual scale of ISE, as a local regional event, there was the sense that there was opportunity for contacts and conversations that might otherwise get drowned out in a full-on international show. And with the more relaxed demand on our time, we also had some good networking interactions with other exhibitors.»
For Amate Audio the event also had longer term value going forward for ISE in the Fira Barcelona: «It was commendable of ISE to stage whatever event prevailing circumstances allowed on its inaugural year in Barcelona. It was proof of concept that, even given a residual level of risk, it will be possible to securely stage a larger event next year.»
«We are very thankful to ACCIÓ to have been able to exhibit in the Catalan Innovation Pavilion this year. The show was one more step towards normality and we expect to return next year to participate in ISE as a full format event in the Fira Barcelona.»
